Not only does she travel internationally educating others, judging print competitions, and filming for commercial clients, she has nurtured Anderson Photographs from a home studio into the 3,000 square foot custom photographic and cinema studio it is today, specializing in Seniors, Children, Newborns, Families, Volume Sports, Boudoir, and Commercial Photography in the Arts & Entertainment District in downtown Hagerstown, MD.

Melanie shares how she is able to continue to be creative, run a successful business, and handle the anxiety in all of it!
  • You’re allowed to have a bad day! Melanie and I talk about being “unapproachable” sometimes and how it feels like we are not allowed to have a bad day. But, why not? Why don’t we talk about the bad days and support each other through it?
  • Have you tried meditating when you’re experiencing stress? Melanie says that when she was going through a transition in life, meditating every day has helped her with clarity, sleep, and anxiety! It’s recommended to do 20 minutes of meditation twice a day.
